In Afyonkarahisar, an incident occurred yesterday afternoon in the Yeşilçiftlik town of the Sultandağı district, where one of the red deer released into nature approached residential areas and, allegedly frightened by dogs, climbed onto the roof of a nearby single-story house. Those who saw the red deer on the roof were greatly astonished.
FELL HEADFIRST
The red deer, which stayed on the roof for a while, lost its balance while coming down and fell headfirst from about 3 meters. The deer, which hit the ground, remained motionless. Upon the notification of the surrounding people, teams from the Nature Conservation and National Parks arrived at the scene and determined that the red deer had died. The red deer was taken away after the examination.
THE MOMENTS ON CAMERA
The moments when the red deer climbed onto the roof were recorded by the residents of the town with a mobile phone. In the footage, as those who saw the deer on the roof said, "It will jump. If it jumps, it will get injured," the animal made a move to come down, during which it lost its balance and fell.
