In the Birecik district of Şanlıurfa, a person shot and killed his father with a rifle following a fight that broke out over a road dispute.
In the incident that occurred in the Arat Mountain neighborhood of Almaşar, which is part of the Birecik district of Şanlıurfa; it is claimed that a dispute over a road issue between Y.G. (41) and his father A.G. (74), who had a feud, quickly escalated. As the argument turned into a fight, Y.G. shot his father with a hunting rifle. A.G., who was seriously injured, was taken to Birecik State Hospital by the medical teams called to the scene.
THE KILLER SON WAS CAPTURED WITH THE HUNTING RIFLE
A.G., who was treated by doctors, could not be saved and passed away. Y.G. was captured by security forces along with the hunting rifle he used in the incident. The suspect, who was taken into custody, was arrested by the court he was brought before and sent to prison. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
