Hezbollah has threatened the Tel Aviv administration regarding the commander Fuad Shukr, who was killed in the attack on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, by Israel. Hezbollah Secretary-General Hasan Nasrallah stated, "We have gone beyond being just a support front. This is an open war on all fronts. We have entered a new stage. Laugh a little, but you will cry a lot and you do not know which line you have crossed, what kind of aggression you have committed."
Hizbullah Movement Secretary General Hasan Nasrallah used the phrase "We have gone beyond being just a support front. This is an open war on all fronts. We have entered a new stage." regarding Israel's killing of Hizbullah's senior commanders Fuad Shukur.
Nasrallah participated in the funeral ceremony for Shukur, who was killed in an air strike by the Israeli army on July 30 in the Dahiye district of Beirut, via video conference.
"LAUGH A LITTLE, THEN YOU WILL CRY A LOT"
Nasrallah stated that the clashes on the border line entered a new phase after the Beirut attack by Israel and said, "We have gone beyond being just a support front. This is an open war on all fronts. We have entered a new stage." In his speech, Nasrallah addressed Israel, saying, "Laugh a little, but you will cry a lot and you do not know which line you have crossed, what kind of aggression you have committed. All support fronts have entered a new stage, but its escalation depends on the reaction of the enemy (Israel).".
"WE HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH THE ATTACK ON MAJDAL SHAMS"
Referring to the attack on the Druze Majdal Shams in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on July 27, which was blamed on Hizbullah, Nasrallah said, "We have previously stated that we have no connection with this incident. We have claimed responsibility for all the actions we have taken so far. If we are wrong, we will accept it, but our internal investigation has confirmed that we have no connection with the missile.".
Nasrallah said that Israel accused Hizbullah directly without presenting any evidence and used this incident as an excuse to kill Shukur and other civilians. The leader of Hizbullah stated that the missile that hit Majdal Shams was a preventive missile fired from Israel's air defense system. Nasrallah said that the attack on Dahiye, the stronghold of Hizbullah in Beirut, was not a retaliation for Majdal Shams, but a part of the war and a response to the Lebanese support front.
AN IRANIAN CITIZEN OF IRANIAN CITIZENSHIP DIED
Nasrallah stated that an Iranian citizen named Milad Bedi died in the building where Shukur was shot, but did not provide any further details about this person. Yesterday, the Hizbullah Movement confirmed that its senior commander Fuad Shukur was killed in an air strike by the Israeli army on Beirut on July 30. In the said attack by Israel, a total of 7 people, including 3 women and 2 children, were killed.
ASSASSINATION OF SHUKUR BY ISRAEL
In a statement on July 30, the Israeli army announced that it had killed Fuad Shukur, one of Hizbullah's commanders, in an air strike on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The statement claimed that the attack was carried out by warplanes and that the killed commander was the "right-hand man" of Hizbullah leader Hasan Nasrallah. It was also claimed that Shukur had been managing the attacks on Israel since October 8, 2023, and was responsible for the attack on Majdal Shams on July 27.
In the Israeli press, it was also reported that Shukur had been appointed as the commander of Hizbullah's "sensitive missile project" a few years ago. Hizbullah commander Fuad Shukur was among the names for whom Washington put a bounty on their heads, claiming that he had a role in the bombing of the US Marine Corps barracks in Beirut in 1983.
