CHP Deputy Chairman Bülent Kuşoğlu made noteworthy assessments regarding whether CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will be a presidential candidate again. Stating that he thinks Kılıçdaroğlu will not want to run for presidency once more, Kuşoğlu said, 'There are very valuable people who are well-versed in Turkey's problems. One of them will be the candidate.'

CHP Deputy Chairman Bülent Kuşoğlu made evaluations regarding Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's political future and possible presidential candidacy during a live broadcast program he attended.

"IT IS NOT RIGHT FOR HIM TO SAY 'I AM LEAVING'"

Stating that Kılıçdaroğlu making a statement that he would leave his post could bring about new candidacy debates and factionalism within CHP, Kuşoğlu said, "I do not expect Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu to say 'I am leaving'. I think it would not be right for him to say such a thing."

Kuşoğlu argued that such a statement would make party management difficult, saying, "People would start saying, 'Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is leaving. So, we will be candidates.' The party would become unmanageable."

"HE STILL STANDS BY HIS WORD"

Reminding of Kılıçdaroğlu's statement during the congress process after the 2023 elections, "I will lead my party to a safe harbor and then leave it in safe hands," Kuşoğlu said that Kılıçdaroğlu still stands by these words.

WILL HE BE A CANDIDATE AGAIN?

Also speaking about whether Kılıçdaroğlu would be a presidential candidate again, Kuşoğlu evaluated, "Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu was a candidate once; he would not want to be a candidate for the presidency once more."

Kuşoğlu stated that he hopes the conditions that would require Kılıçdaroğlu to be a candidate again do not arise, and expressed that the opposition should not have difficulty finding a new presidential candidate.
