The first round of US-Iran talks, mediated by Qatar and Pakistan and held in Switzerland for approximately 18 hours, has concluded. During the talks, claims emerged that the Iranian delegation protested against threats in statements made by US President Donald Trump. The parties reached a consensus on a roadmap to achieve a final agreement within 60 days, making progress on critical issues including the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the ceasefire in Lebanon.

The first round of quadrilateral talks between Iran and the US, mediated by Pakistan and Qatar in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, has concluded.

Prior to the critical meeting, the Iranian delegation held a preliminary meeting with US representatives under Qatar's mediation. The discussions covered the status of the Strait of Hormuz, the ceasefire process in Lebanon, and Iran's frozen assets.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the official start of the Lucerne Lake Summit, stating that high-level representatives from the US, Iran, Pakistan, and Qatar were participating in the meetings.

Delegations led by US Vice President JD Vance and Iran's chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf came together with the aim of achieving a permanent end to conflicts.
