HEAD-ON COLLISION
The accident occurred on the Gölbaşı-Pazarcık highway near the Çelik village. According to information obtained, the car with license plate 01 AID 574, driven by Serkan S. (27), was traveling from the direction of Pazarcık towards Gölbaşı when it collided head-on with a car with license plate 55 AV 926, driven by Veysel C. (45), coming from the opposite direction. In the accident, driver Veysel C. and passengers Aysel Coşkun (39), Muhammed Burak Coşkun (14), Emir Mirza C. (12), and Deniz Aren Coşkun (1) were seriously injured. The other driver, Serkan S., and his passenger Buse K. (24) sustained minor injuries.
3 PEOPLE FROM THE SAME FAMILY COULD NOT BE SAVED
Upon notification, health, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. After the first intervention by health teams at the scene, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals. Aysel Coşkun, Muhammed Burak Coşkun, and Deniz Aren Coşkun from the same family, who were taken to the hospital in serious condition, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost their lives.
An investigation has been launched into the accident.
