After the flood that hit Hatay and Osmaniye, the Ministry of Interior issued a new warning. According to the latest assessments by the Meteorology, heavy and locally very heavy downpours are expected in Adana, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, and the Eastern Black Sea region. The ministry warned citizens to be cautious and take precautions against floods, waterlogging, lightning, landslides, hail, and disruptions in transportation.
The Ministry of Interior issued a "yellow" coded meteorological warning for 8 provinces due to heavy rain.

Accordingly, today, intermittent and locally heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected in the north and east of Adana, Osmaniye, the Andırın district of Kahramanmaraş, and later in the west of Hatay.
WARNING ALSO ISSUED FOR THE BLACK SEA REGION
Locally heavy showers and thunderstorms are forecast to be effective in the surroundings of Giresun and Trabzon, in the south of Artvin, and very heavy in places around Rize and the north of Artvin.
Citizens are urged to be cautious and take precautions against adverse conditions such as floods, waterlogging, lightning, landslides, disruptions in transportation, local hail, and strong winds during rainfall.
