In the Bornova district of Izmir, the driver of a car that crashed into the back of a truck and went under it died tragically. The moment the speeding car plunged into the truck like an arrow was captured on security cameras. The accident occurred yesterday evening on 6108 Street in Egemenlik District. According to information obtained, the car with license plate 34 HCD 828, driven by Burak Beder (41), hit the back of a truck traveling in the same direction, whose driver and license plate have not yet been determined. Due to the force of the impact, the car went under the truck and was reduced to scrap metal. Upon the notification of those who witnessed the accident, health, police, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene.
CAR DRIVER KILLED, TRUCK DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
As a result of intense efforts by fire brigade teams, the car driver Burak Beder was removed from the vehicle and was found to have lost his life during checks. Beder's lifeless body was taken to the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy after the prosecutor and crime scene investigation teams worked at the accident site. The truck driver involved in the accident was taken into custody by police teams.
