In the Zafer neighborhood of the Tepebaşı district, Mehmet Karabulut jumped from the window of his 7th-floor apartment, landing on the awning of the 2nd floor and then falling into the garden, injuring his knee. Police teams were dispatched to the scene following a report from neighbors.
HIS WIFE WAS FOUND MOTIONLESS AT HOME
Police teams who entered the house he jumped into to see where Mehmet Karabulut fell found his wife Sevim Özdemir lying motionless. It was determined during the investigation that Sevim Özdemir had passed away a few days earlier. Mehmet Karabulut was taken to Yunus Emre State Hospital by ambulance. An investigation was launched regarding the suspicious death of Sevim Özdemir, and her lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Eskişehir City Hospital. It was stated that the exact cause of death would be clarified after the autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
