In the Yenice district of Karabük, a man killed his wife by cutting her throat with a fruit knife. After the murder, the suspect, who attempted suicide by cutting his wrists, was taken to the hospital. The fear experienced by the 3 children who witnessed the event was heartbreaking.

KILLED IN FRONT OF THEIR CHILDREN
The incident occurred on Menderes Street in the Yenice district. According to the information obtained, Yusuf B. (48) came to the house where his religiously wedded wife, Tutku Burcu Köseoğlu (29), lived. Allegedly, B. sent their three children—two girls and one boy, aged between 7 and 10—out of the house and then started arguing with Köseoğlu. Hearing the sounds rising from the house, the children ran approximately 200 meters to the Yenice District Police Department and reported the situation to the police teams.
ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
Upon receiving the report, teams arrived at the address but could not enter because the door was locked, so they requested assistance from the fire department. After the fire department opened the door, police entered the house and found Tutku Burcu Köseoğlu lying motionless in a pool of blood. It was determined that Yusuf B., who was also in the house, had cut his wrists with a knife. During the medical teams' check, it was established that Köseoğlu died at the scene due to knife wounds to her throat. The injured suspect, Yusuf B., was taken to the hospital under police supervision by ambulance after initial intervention at the scene.
LITTLE CHILD BURST INTO TEARS
Following the public prosecutor's examination at the scene, Crime Scene Investigation teams conducted evidence work. After the investigations were completed, the young woman's body was taken to Yenice State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
After the incident, the three children who reported the fight between their mother and father to the police were taken under protection by police teams. One of the children arriving at the scene hugged a neighbor and burst into tears, causing emotional moments in the area.

Meanwhile, it was learned that Yusuf B., who killed his religiously wedded wife, had 6 different criminal records, had been in prison recently due to violence against the same woman, and was released a while ago. A comprehensive investigation into the incident continues.
