In the Sarıyer district of Istanbul, a 41-year-old woman who had not been heard from for 4 days was found dead in her home where she lived alone. Firefighters, who arrived at the address upon neighbors' report of a bad odor, entered the apartment through a window and encountered the woman's lifeless body. During the inspection at the house, a note and approximately 15 empty medicine boxes were found.

NEIGHBORS' SUSPICION WAS CORRECT
The incident occurred around 9:00 PM in the İstinye neighborhood. According to claims, neighbors of 41-year-old Sibel Gül, who lived alone, reported the situation to police after being unable to reach her for approximately 4 days and noticing a smell coming from the apartment. Upon the report, fire brigade, emergency medical teams, and police arrived at the scene. Firefighters found Sibel Gül's body in the bedroom of the apartment, which they entered through a window.
NOTE AND EMPTY MEDICINE BOXES FOUND IN THE HOME
During the investigation conducted by police at the home, Sibel Gül's ID, a note, and approximately 15 empty medicine boxes were found on the table. After the crime scene investigation team's work, Gül's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
