A female customer in Zonguldak, who claimed she was harassed via text messages by the taxi driver she had ridden with, printed out the messages and raided the taxi stand. After confronting the driver at the stand and filing a complaint, police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the disturbing allegations.
In the Ereğli district of Zonguldak, an investigation has been launched by police teams against a taxi driver accused of sending sexual messages to a female customer who rode in his vehicle.
OBTAINED THE PHONE NUMBER AND BOMBARDED WITH MESSAGES
According to the allegation, retired police officer and taxi driver R.Y., who somehow obtained the phone number of the female customer he picked up, began sending sexual messages to the female customer shortly after. The female customer, shocked by the messages, took screenshots of them and promptly went to the taxi stand.
FILED A COMPLAINT
A heated argument broke out at the taxi stand between the female customer and driver R.Y. After the tension escalated, the woman called the 112 Emergency Call Center and reported the situation to the police.
Upon the report, police teams arrived at the address quickly and took statements from both parties. It was learned that the female customer officially filed a complaint against R.Y., who sent her harassing messages. A comprehensive investigation by law enforcement into the incident is ongoing.
