In an operation organized by police in Samsun, a couple caught with 1 kilogram 210 grams of methamphetamine hidden in a bag under a stroller carrying a 7-month-old baby were arrested by the court they were brought to.
Teams from the Samsun Provincial Police Department Narcotic Crimes Branch conducted an operation in the İlkadım district as part of efforts against drug trafficking.
HIDDEN IN A 7-MONTH-OLD BABY'S STROLLER
During the operation, 1 kilogram and 210 grams of methamphetamine were seized inside a woman's bag hidden under the stroller of the foreign couple's 7-month-old baby. The woman, M.A. (43), and her husband, M.K.M.Ö. (56), who were assessed to be trying not to attract attention by appearing as a family with their 7-month-old baby, were taken into custody.
THEY WERE ARRESTED
The couple, who were referred to the Samsun Courthouse today, were arrested and sent to prison.
