A cooperation protocol was signed between the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and Yeditepe University for referee training and development. The ceremony held at the TFF Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva was attended by TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, board members, Yeditepe University Founder and Honorary President Bedrettin Dalan, and other guests.
NEW REFEREES WILL BE INTRODUCED TO TURKISH FOOTBALL İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu stated in his remarks that they aim to introduce new referees to Turkish football within the framework of their cooperation with Yeditepe University, saying, "New referee candidates will undergo special training as part of the project developed in line with the scientific findings and recommendations of the Central Referee Committee. Performance analyses will be conducted using the latest technological means in this project based on concrete goals. Candidates will receive intensive theoretical and practical training with the academic infrastructure of Yeditepe University. Their training will be supported by joint seminars and projects. Their physical and psychological development will be closely monitored. Endurance, focus, and decision-making skills will be strengthened. Candidates who are passionate about refereeing will be enabled to join the community more quickly and equipped through personalized training. A gradual training program aimed at raising the cognitive and mental levels of our current referees will also be implemented to increase their success." he said.
LET'S JOIN HANDS FOR A FAIRER AND CLEANER FOOTBALL Addressing the stakeholders of Turkish football, President Hacıosmanoğlu called for a "fairer and cleaner football," stating, "Let’s work shoulder to shoulder in solidarity for a fairer and cleaner football. Only in this way can we carry Turkish football to the longed-for tomorrows. Our refereeing institution will overcome these challenges and take root more strongly. The main way to achieve this is through education. As I conclude my words, I once again commemorate the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who said, 'I love the sportsman who is intelligent, agile, and at the same time ethical,' on the 87th anniversary of his passing with respect, gratitude, and longing. I wish this cooperation to be beneficial for Turkish football and extend my respects."
