The artist, who claimed to have been scammed out of 4 million dollars, expressed that he is now more cautious after the victimization he experienced. Stating, "I am compassionate, but my conscience does not allow me to do certain things," Tatlıses emphasized his strong stance with the words, "I never run out of money, it only decreases."

"WHAT A RELATIVE DOES TO ANOTHER RELATIVE..."

Using the phrase "Even a scorpion wouldn't do what a relative does to another relative," the artist claimed that his son Ahmet Tatlı sold 5 apartments in Manisa but did not share any with his siblings. Regarding his daughter Dilan Çıtak, he shared his disappointment with the words, "When she is in trouble, she says 'I am İbrahim Tatlıses's daughter,' but when she is not in trouble, she says 'I don't know her.'

FIRE AND "15 JARS OF PICKLES"

A major fire broke out in the block where Tatlıses's apartment is located in a luxury site in Narlıdere, İzmir, causing severe damage to 40 out of 168 apartments in the site. Tatlıses, who was in Istanbul during the fire, was not directly affected. The artist, who stated that his house has been completely renovated, expressed that he was most saddened by the burning of 15 jars of pickles in the fire. Explaining his fondness for pickles, Tatlıses also drew attention to the pickles and healthy foods in his kitchen.
