Idil Bilgen, the father of Turkey's beauty queen, turned out to be the Ambassador of Turkey in Kiev.

The winners of Miss Turkey, who will represent Turkey in the Miss Universe competition, were announced last night in Istanbul. Idil Bilgen became the winner of Miss Turkey, where 20 contestants competed. It was revealed that Bilgen's father is also familiar.

It turned out that Bilgen's father, Levent Bilgen, has been Turkey's Ambassador to Kiev since October 2023. Before being assigned to Ukraine, Bilgen served as the Ambassador to Abu Dhabi between 2014 and 2016. Idil Bilgen, who lost her mother in 2018, was seen with her father and brother Metehan Bilgen at the funeral.

The Miss Turkey final, where Turkey's registered beauties were determined, took place last night. The 20 finalists, who had been in camp for weeks, appeared before the jury, including names such as Berfu Yenenler, Selen Soyder, Gizem Karaca, Amine Gülşe, and Neşe Erbek. The winner of the night was Idil Bilgen, a graduate of Koç University Faculty of Medicine, who is 1.80 meters tall. Bilgen, who was chosen as Turkey's Beauty, surpassing her competitors, will represent our country in Miss World.

Expressing her excitement after her success, Idil Bilgen said, "I really wanted to be the first when I participated in the competition, but I didn't know if it would happen or not. I wanted to try my luck. I am very excited to be able to represent my country now."
