Seizing 2 tons of spoiled dry cake that seriously threatened human health, the teams shut down the business and ended its operations. Mayor Umut Yılmaz said, "We will not compromise on any business that endangers public health."

Şehitkamil Municipality Police Directorate teams continue their inspections across the district without interruption to ensure citizens access healthy food. During routine checks at a business operating in the Sanayi District, numerous products stored in unhealthy and completely unhygienic conditions were detected.

2 TONS OF SPOILED PRODUCTS DESTROYED, BUSINESS SHUT DOWN

As a result of detailed inspections by police teams, approximately 2 tons of spoiled dry pastries prepared for market release were seized. These products, determined to pose a serious threat to human health, were immediately confiscated. The tons of spoiled food, documented in reports, were taken for destruction after legal procedures. The heaviest penalties were applied to the business that disregarded public health, and it was sealed, ceasing operations.

ZERO TOLERANCE

Following the operation, Şehitkamil Municipality Mayor Umut Yılmaz made a statement, emphasizing that inspections of food production and sales locations will continue with zero tolerance. Mayor Yılmaz stated:

"The health of our citizens is our priority. Our inspections will continue resolutely to ensure the sale of products that our people can consume safely. We will not make any concessions to businesses that act against the rules and endanger public health."

Mayor Yılmaz also called on citizens to report any suspicious situations encountered while shopping to the municipality, reminding that protecting public health is a shared responsibility.
