Sad news has come from the master artist İlhan Şeşen, who has been battling cancer for a while. The 76-year-old artist has passed away.
"When You Hug Me", "Flowers in My Hands" and "What's Happening to Us" are some of the unforgettable songs created by Şeşen, who has left a deep mark on Turkish music not only with his voice but also with his lyrics and compositions. Throughout his career of over half a century, the artist has presented his listeners with emotional, simple, and impactful works, and he was loved for both his solo projects and his prolific period with the group Gündoğarken.
DIAGNOSED TWO YEARS AGO
The master artist was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2023.
