A car driver who did not notice a closed road in Hatay crashed into a parked construction vehicle. In the horrific accident, the 20-year-old driver lost his life, while 3 people were injured.
HORRIBLE ACCIDENT AT NIGHT
The accident occurred around 03:45 at night in Harbiye Neighborhood. The car with license plate 33 ATB 669, driven by Doğan Dağlı, crashed into a construction vehicle that was at the site for the demolition of a heavily damaged building. Due to the impact, the car went under the construction vehicle.
20-YEAR-OLD DRIVER DIES
In the accident, driver Doğan Dağlı was seriously injured, while Z.A.S., F.K., and M.Ö., who were in the vehicle, were also injured. Upon notification by nearby citizens, police, medical, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured individuals trapped in the vehicle were extricated by fire crews and handed over to medical teams.
Among the injured taken to the hospital, 20-year-old driver Doğan Dağlı could not be saved despite all interventions by doctors. The young driver's body was laid to rest in the neighborhood cemetery.
