The accident occurred around 16:00 in the Yenibaraj District of Seyhan. According to allegations, the concrete mixer truck with plate 42 EJR 29, driven by A.T., hit a pedestrian walking on the street while reversing. The pedestrian trapped under the mixer truck was severely injured, and the driver stopped the vehicle upon the warnings of those nearby.
LOST HIS LIFE
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the pedestrian, whose identity could not be found on them, had lost their life during the examination. Police teams, who closed the street to traffic, reopened it after the investigation at the scene. The lifeless body of the pedestrian was taken to the morgue of the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute. The mixer truck driver was taken into custody.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
