Red alerts have been issued in 37 provinces, while the government allocated a 100 million euro budget for hospitals and ordered 30,000 air conditioners. Additionally, a train got stuck in a tunnel, and an exam at a high school was held in a parking lot.

RED ALERT IN 37 CITIES
According to a statement from the French meteorological agency Meteo-France, due to extreme heat across the country, a red alert has been issued in 37 provinces, including Paris and its surrounding areas, and an orange alert in 48 provinces. Temperatures in the provinces under red alert are expected to reach up to 42 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, an orange alert has also been issued in 34 provinces due to the risk of storms.
BUDGET OF 100 MILLION EUROS ALLOCATED
According to a statement on the Ministry of Health's website, the ministry has allocated a budget of 100 million euros for cooling activities in hospitals. The ministry has recommended that public and private hospitals purchase air conditioners and fans without delay.
30,000 AIR CONDITIONERS ORDERED
According to a statement from the French Prime Minister's office, following a proposal by French Health Minister Stephanie Rist, Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu has ordered 30,000 air conditioners for hospitals across the country.

In the Ile-de-France region, which includes Paris and its surrounding provinces, hospitals are experiencing congestion due to the extraordinary heatwave that has been ongoing for days.
According to a statement from the AP-HP institution, which manages hospitals in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, approximately 3,000 people have visited these hospitals in the last 24 hours. Compared to a normal day, there has been a 36 percent increase in the number of hospital admissions.
At a high school in the town of Rueil-Malmaison, students took their French oral exams yesterday in the parking lot. The Versailles Academy stated that they held the exam in the parking lot to prevent its postponement due to the hot weather.
Meanwhile, due to the extreme heat, the body of a person was found yesterday in the Saint-Martin Canal, which was partially opened for swimming in the capital Paris.
