WE UPDATE OUR FIRST AID COURSES EVERY YEAR

Teacher Ekrem İnci, stating that he once again understood the importance of first aid training, said, “The day the incident happened was the lunch break. One of our students came to us and said his friend had food stuck in his throat. We immediately went to intervene. When we got there, our student could not breathe. Thanks to the first aid training we received, we applied the Heimlich maneuver. Thank God, the bite stuck in his throat came out and our student was relieved. However, he had been very scared. To relieve his fear and anxiety, we took him aside and chatted with him. We informed his parent. Under the leadership of our Ministry and with the instruction of our National Education Directorate, we update our first aid courses every year. We receive our training. We saw and experienced how important first aid is in practice. I think everyone should learn first aid. Saving our student brought us happiness and joy. We don’t just teach lessons at school. We are educators who support our students in every sense, stand in solidarity with them, and stand by them,” he said.
