In Bayrampasa, police officers intervened when they saw a person assaulting a woman on the street. After the suspect called his relatives, a brawl broke out in which 2 police officers were injured by stabbing and beating. The 4 suspects who fled were quickly caught and arrested by the court they were brought before.
In Bayrampaşa, police officers O.K. and M.A.K. intervened when they saw M.Y. (24) assaulting Z.T. (19) on the street. In the brawl, which also involved the suspect's relatives, 2 police officers were injured. While the police officers were taken to the hospital for treatment, 4 suspects who were detained were arrested by the court they were brought before and sent to prison.
The incident occurred on August 19 at around 23:45 on Eti Street in İsmetpaşa Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, police officer O.K., who works at the Special Operations Department, and police officer M.A.K., who works at the Riot Police Department, saw M.Y. assaulting Z.T. while they were walking on the street. The two police officers intervened in the incident and separated the parties.

According to the claim, M.Y. called his brother M.Y. (30) and his younger brother M.D.Y. (17) by phone. When the suspects who arrived at the scene attacked the police officers, a brawl broke out. During the brawl, police officer O.K. was seriously injured with knife blows, while M.A.K. was also beaten and injured in the head. The injured police officers were taken to the hospital by health teams who arrived at the scene upon the report and were taken under treatment.
THEY WERE CAUGHT WHILE ESCAPING
The suspects fled in the vehicle with license plate 27 BBJ 719, which they came to the scene in. An operation was carried out upon the assessment that the suspects might be at a workplace in İsmetpaşa Neighborhood. The suspects, who tried to escape from the back of the workplace, were caught after a short chase. The suspects were taken to the Public Order Bureau Office. In the searches conducted at the workplace and in the vehicle used by the suspects, the knife considered to have been used in the incident was seized. Also found in the vehicle was a wallet belonging to O.K., which contained his police ID card. In the search conducted at Z.T.'s home, an unlicensed pistol belonging to his father B.T. was seized.
4 SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED
M.Y., M.Y., M.D.Y., and Z.T., whose procedures were completed at the Homicide Bureau Office of the Public Order Department, were arrested by the court they were brought before and sent to prison.
