BEŞİKTAŞ CONFIRMED THE DEAL, NOW WAITING
The black-and-whites, who reached a 2-year agreement with the 34-year-old Egyptian star worth 12 million Euros annually, have received confirmation that the deal stands after their latest contact with the player. However, Salah's agent Ramy Abbas's commission request of approximately 6 million Euros per season (35%) has created an obstacle in the transfer. The Beşiktaş administration, having rejected this demand, informed that they will stick to the initially agreed figures and are now awaiting the agent's decision.
THREE MORE TRANSFERS BESIDES SALAH
While the wait for Salah's transfer continues, the black-and-white administration, in line with head coach Italiano's report, has accelerated contacts for other positions: Official talks have begun for Newcastle United's 26-year-old player Joe Willock, who fits the fast and dynamic midfielder profile Italiano is looking for.
For the defense line, after failing to reach a common ground in talks with Flamengo's Leo Pereira, an alternative route was drawn. The black-and-whites have added İgor Julio, a former student of Italiano who plays for Brighton, to their agenda.
Beşiktaş, who placed Leipzig's 23-year-old Belgian star Johan Bakayoko at the top of their list for a winger reinforcement, have contacted both the player and his club to begin a cost assessment. The high number of suitors for the young talent is among the factors complicating the process.
