A light commercial vehicle and a car collided head-on on the Çankırı-Kızılırmak highway. Three people died in the accident, and four others were injured, two of them seriously.
3 people lost their lives and 4 others were injured, 2 of them seriously, in a collision between a light commercial vehicle and a car in Çankırı.
HEAD-ON COLLISION
The car with license plate 16 ALY 258, driven by İzzet Gümüşbuğa (43), collided with a light commercial vehicle with license plate 06 HD 7613, driven by Remzi Akdemir (75), coming from the opposite direction on the Çankırı-Kızılırmak highway at the Bozkır village location. Upon notification, numerous ambulances, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
3 PEOPLE DIED
In the accident, the car driver and Hasan Salih Gümüşbuğa (12), who was in the same vehicle, died at the scene. The light commercial vehicle driver and Çiğdem (30), Abdullah (5), Esma Betül (9), and Muhammet Emir Gümüşbuğa (5) in the car were injured.
The injured individuals trapped in the car were extracted by the fire department and taken to Çankırı State Hospital by ambulance with health teams. Among the injured, Remzi Akdemir could not be saved despite interventions at the hospital. It was learned that the conditions of Abdullah and Esma Betül Gümüşbuğa are also serious.
The highway, which was closed to traffic for a while due to the accident, was reopened after the vehicles were removed.
