A truck and a car collided at an intersection in Çankırı. Three people died and two were injured in the accident.
In Çankırı, 3 people died and 2 were injured in a collision between a truck and a car.
3 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
The car with license plate 06 BPL 966, driven by Metin Ö. (56), and the truck with license plate 19 AFU 560, driven by İbrahim A. (38), collided at the İskilip junction on the Çankırı-Kızılırmak highway. In the accident, Nazmi A. (61) and Sevgi Ç. (65), who were passengers in the car, died at the scene, while the driver, Gülay Ö. (54), and Ersin Ş. (42) were injured.
Upon notification, gendarmerie, health, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the accident scene.
The injured were taken to Çankırı State Hospital by ambulances after initial intervention at the scene.
One of the injured, Ersin Ş., could not be saved despite interventions at the hospital.
