Republican People's Party (CHP) Spokesperson Müslim Sarı announced the radical change decisions taken within the party administration. Sarı stated that 26 provincial heads were removed from their duties on the grounds that they exhibited behaviors damaging the party's institutional identity.
The statement also noted that 7 provincial heads were referred to the high disciplinary board with a request for definitive expulsion. It was expressed that new appointments would be made in the provinces where removals occurred as soon as possible in accordance with the party regulations.
