It was reported that 802 people sought medical attention due to a dust storm affecting the Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran.

The Vice President of Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in Khuzestan province, southwest of Iran, Dr. Meysam Muazi, made a statement regarding the number of people visiting hospitals due to the ongoing dust storm in Iran. Muazi stated that in the last 24 hours, 802 individuals suffering from heart and respiratory issues have sought medical attention due to the dust storm affecting Khuzestan, adding, "Of these individuals, 92 were hospitalized, while the others were discharged after treatment." Muazi urged especially children, pregnant women, the elderly, and those with respiratory conditions to stay at home as much as possible.
