Despite international sanctions, North Korea continues to invest in defense, fully committed to the production of cutting-edge weapons and ammunition. According to a statement from the North Korean administration, the country's leader Kim Jong-Un visited a tank factory to receive information from officials about the production and modernization processes.
PLEASED WITH MASS PRODUCTION
Expressing his satisfaction with the performance of the high-thrust engine design used in tanks and its potential for mass production, Kim stated, "Changing the armored vehicle technology of the last century with today's technology is the most important issue for the modernization of the army."
GAVE INSTRUCTIONS DURING THE VISIT
Emphasizing that the new tanks equipped with different electronic warfare systems are an indication of the progress made in North Korea's production technologies, Kim said, "As long as we do not accurately define the function and development direction of tanks in modern warfare and do not reconsider our perspective on tank design, it is impossible to successfully build armored forces." The North Korean leader issued orders for the production of more modern tanks and self-propelled artillery systems in this direction.
