Emirgan, one of Istanbul's favorite seaside spots, was filled with citizens taking advantage of the 20-degree warm weather. While families had picnics, some fished and went for walks. The joy of Istanbulites spending time with the Bosphorus view was worth seeing.
Citizens taking advantage of the sunny weather in Istanbul created a crowd at Emirgan, one of the city's popular coastal spots. With the temperature exceeding 20 degrees, Istanbulites wanting to spend the weekend outdoors flocked to the shore accompanied by the Bosphorus view.
THE CROWD ON THE SHORE WAS ALSO CAPTURED FROM THE AIR
From the early morning hours, some of the citizens who came to Emirgan shore preferred to fish, while others chose to take a walk. As congestion occurred along the shoreline, families had picnics in the shade of trees. Meanwhile, many citizens wanting to enjoy the warm weather spent time against the Bosphorus view and took plenty of photos. The crowd on the shore was also captured from the air.
Taşın Özdemir, who came for a walk on the shore with her family, said, "The weather is nice, we came to Emirgan shore as a family to take advantage of it. We are walking around, exploring. We are waiting for the weather to get even warmer."
"WE FOUND THE WEATHER NICE, WE THREW OURSELVES TO THE SHORE"
Sinan Kaya, stating that he came to the shore to fish due to the nice weather, said, "We found the weather nice, we threw ourselves to the shore. There haven't been fish in the Bosphorus for a long time. We came to fish. With the weather improving, fish have become abundant. We are fishing and having picnics. People who find the weather nice have thrown themselves to the shore."
