The bodies of two citizens, aged 76 and 79, who went missing in the Kabadüz district of Ordu, were found inside a rolled-over truck. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
In the Kabadüz district of Ordu, the lifeless bodies of two elderly citizens who were reported missing were found inside a rolling pickup truck. The incident occurred last night in the Kaleboynu area of Çambaşı Plateau in the district. According to the information obtained, relatives of Cevat Günkaya (76) and Dursun Ali Çelebi (79), who went to the plateau to travel with their pickup truck, reported them missing to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.
FOUND IN A 30-METER DEEP ABYSS
After the search efforts, which included citizens, the pickup truck with the license plate 52 FF 572 was found rolled down a cliff approximately 30 meters deep. Teams that descended to the area where the truck was located determined that the driver Cevat Günkaya and Dursun Ali Çelebi had lost their lives at the scene. The bodies of the individuals were sent to the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
