At the 21st Extraordinary Congress of the CHP, the results of the Party Assembly and the High Disciplinary Board elections have been announced. The key list published by Özgür Özel, who was re-elected as the Chairman, was fully accepted before the elections. Names known for their closeness to former president Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu were also included in the list. Additionally, Tunç Soyer, whom Özel referred to as his "biggest disappointment," was included in the reserve list of the Party Assembly.
At the 21st Extraordinary Congress of the CHP, the results of the Party Council (PM) and the High Disciplinary Board (YDK) elections were announced. Özgür Özel, who was re-elected as the General Chairman, received approval from all delegates for his 52-person key list published before the elections.
NOTABLE NAMES ENTERED THE PM
In the CHP PM, Ali Haydar Hakverdi, known for his closeness to former president Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Semra Dinçer, and retired ambassador Namık Tan were included. Deniz Yavuzyılmaz, the Zonguldak MP who entered the PM by breaking the list in the independent elections at the 38th Ordinary Congress, was also the person who received the most votes. Additionally, Berkay Gezgin, who was detained and arrested during protests for Ekrem İmamoğlu, the architect of the slogan "Everything will be very beautiful," was also included. The list also features Berna Özgül, the sister of motor courier Samet Özgül, who lost his life due to an attack by three people in traffic. Eight members of the 60-person PM were elected from the Science Culture Art Platform (BKSP) list. In the YDK elections, Özgür Sağlam received the most votes.
The official results will be announced after the implementation of the "gender" and "youth" quotas specified in the party statute and the evaluation of objections.
ÖZGÜR ÖZEL RE-ELECTED WITH 1171 VOTES
At the 21st Extraordinary Congress of the Republican People's Party (CHP), held in line with the decision taken to "prevent the appointment of a trustee to the party," Özgür Özel, the only candidate, was re-elected as the CHP General Chairman by receiving all of the valid 1171 votes.
TWO LISTS COMPETED
After the speeches at the podium and the General Chairmanship elections, the elections for PM, YDK, and Science Culture Board memberships began around 20:00 and were completed at 23:50, followed by the vote counting. The vote counting was completed around 03:30, and the results were announced.
In the congress, the names from the key list of General Chairman Özgür Özel competed with those from the "Balance and Solidarity" list prepared under the leadership of Istanbul MP Oğuz Kaan Salıcı and the "Common Mind Common Conscience" list prepared by Elazığ MP Gürsel Erol.
DENİZ YAVUZ YILMAZ RECEIVED THE HIGHEST VOTE
Deniz Yavuzyılmaz, the current PM member listed in the key list, ranked first in the new PM elections with 876 votes. He was followed by Istanbul MP Suat Özçağdaş with 856 votes and Şanlıurfa MP Mahmut Tanal with 815 votes.
Müslim Sarı, Orhan Sarıbal, and Koza Yardımcı, who were on the previous PM list but not on Özel's PM key list, were also included again.
Eight preferences were made from Özgür Özel's 12-person BKSP list. Örsan Kunter Öymen, Baran Seyhan, Taner Demirer, and Armağan Erdoğan were not included in the 12-person list.
In the PM, all names were included except for the General Vice Presidents Volkan Demir and İlhan Uzgel from the former Central Executive Board (MYK). It was learned that Demir would be appointed as the Secretary General of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality after Can Akın Çağlar's retirement.

At the congress, the members selected from the 60-person PM's BKSP list were also determined. Özgür Özel made 8 preferences from the 12-person BKSP list. The names in a quota-applied manner are as follows:

TUNÇ SOYER ENTERED THE PM RESERVE LIST, ÖZEL'S OLD WORDS CAME TO MIND
The most notable name on the reserve list of the Party Council was former İzmir Mayor Tunç Soyer. In the local elections on March 31, Cemil Tugay was nominated instead of Soyer, and he was offered other positions in the party. While Soyer stated that he rejected the offers, Özgür Özel had made a statement about Soyer saying, 'my biggest disappointment.'
