WHO IS AHMET LEVENDOĞLU?

Having produced work in every area of theater from teaching to acting and directing, and from theater management to play translation and magazine writing, Levendoğlu graduated from Robert College. During his years at Robert College, the stage dust he inhaled took him to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in England as a scholarship student. This was also the first scholarship given by the Turkish government to a student studying theater abroad.

He began his theater career in London. He acted for a season at the Northcott Theatre in Exeter, one of England's leading city theaters.

Levendoğlu first appeared on stage in Turkey at the Gen-Ar Theatre. Between 1971 and 1976, he was an actor at the Ankara State Theatre. He served as an actor and director at the Istanbul State Theatre from 1978 to 1980, where he also took on the role of assistant director during its establishment period.

Along with Zuhal Olcay and Haluk Bilginer, he established a private institution called "Theater Studio," which not only staged many plays but also provided theater education. He served as an instructor at Academy Istanbul between 1995 and 1998.
