In the football betting investigation, 29 suspects, including Metehan Baltacı, Murat Sancak, Alassane Ndao, Mert Hakan Yandaş, Ahmet Okatan, Mehmet Emin Katipoğlu, and Ümit Kaya, were referred to the Duty Magistrate's Court with a request for their arrest, while 10 suspects were requested to be placed under judicial control.

A recent development has occurred regarding the 38 individuals detained as part of the betting investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Among the suspects, 29 individuals including Metehan Baltacı, Murat Sancak, Alassane Ndao, Mert Hakan Yandaş, Ahmet Okatan, Mehmet Emin Katipoğlu, and Ümit Kaya have been referred to the Duty Magistrate Court with a request for their arrest.

REQUEST FOR JUDICIAL CONTROL FOR 10 SUSPECTS

10 suspects, including referee Zorbay Küçük and Trabzonspor football player Salih Malkoçoğlu, who are currently in custody, have been referred to the Duty Magistrate Court with a request for their release under judicial control.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In operations coordinated by the Cyber Crimes Department of the Istanbul Police Department, 38 individuals, including former Adana Demirspor President Murat Sancak, former referee and football commentator Ahmet Çakar, football player Mert Hakan Yandaş, Fenerbahçe Congress Member Ersen Dikmen, who is alleged to have placed bets on behalf of Yandaş, football player Metehan Baltacı, who received a penalty in a previous investigation, and TFF upper-class referee Zorbay Küçük, were detained. The suspects in custody were taken to Bayrampaşa State Hospital for a health check and then brought back to the Istanbul Provincial Police Department.
