New details are emerging in the operation launched against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality regarding bribery, fraud, and aiding a terrorist organization. It has been determined that Emrah Bağdatlı, the "advisor" of Murat Ongun, the Chairman of Media A.Ş., who was detained along with İmamoğlu, left the country two weeks ago. It was also learned that Bağdatlı left his mobile phone at home.
The operation initiated by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is ongoing.
It has been determined that Murat Ongun, an advisor to the IMM President and Chairman of IMM Media Inc., introduced himself as the "advisor" of the suspect Emrah Bağdatlı, who was married by IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu, and that Bağdatlı had traveled abroad two weeks ago.
MORE THAN 60 TENDERS IN 2 YEARS It has been found that the fugitive Bağdatlı received more than 60 tenders through Media Inc. with companies he established in his name between 2022-2024.
It was determined that Bağdatlı received many tenders from KİPTAŞ and Culture Inc., established an advertising company in the name of approximately 35 people working with him, and received tenders, with many of these companies having the same addresses and submitting price offers for the same files.

To evade the police waiting in front of his house and tracking his signal, Bağdatlı left his phone at home and was determined to have exited through the İpsala Border Gate in a vehicle with license plate 34 BCK 004 at 18:38 on March 5.
