In the last 24 hours, news of 3 women murders came from Istanbul and Ankara. In Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, a man killed his wife by stabbing her multiple times in the middle of the street. In Bağcılar, a woman was stabbed to death by her husband during an argument. In Mamak district of Ankara, a man who killed his wife, who was in the process of getting a divorce, committed suicide with the same weapon.

In Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, a man stabbed a woman with a knife during an argument on the sidewalk around 9:00 PM. The woman, covered in blood from the knife wounds, collapsed on the ground.

The suspect was almost lynched by the people around. The police officers who arrived at the scene apprehended the suspect. The woman, lying on the sidewalk covered in blood, was taken to the hospital by an ambulance. The woman, who was stabbed in various parts of her body, died in the hospital.

In a house in Bağcılar Yıldıztepe Neighborhood, İ.Ç. and his wife K.Ç. had an argument for reasons yet to be determined. İ.Ç. stabbed his wife during the argument. The police and medical teams were dispatched to the address upon the notification of the residents of the apartment building.

K.Ç., who was taken to the hospital after the initial intervention by the healthcare professionals, could not be saved. İ.Ç., who was taken into custody by the police officers, was referred to the courthouse for "intentional homicide" after the procedures at the police station.

HE KILLED HIS WIFE FIRST AND THEN COMMITTED SUICIDE

In Durali Alıç Neighborhood, Mamak district of Ankara, B.B. and his soon-to-be ex-wife Z.B. had an argument in a car. The argument turned into a fight, and B.B. shot Z.B. with a gun before shooting himself with the same weapon.

Upon the notification of the people in the vicinity, the police and medical team were dispatched to the scene. The examination by the healthcare professionals revealed that both B.B. and Z.B. lost their lives. After the examination by the prosecutor, the bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

On August 10, in Taşoluk Neighborhood, Arnavutköy, Istanbul, a dispute broke out between Serpil G. (35) and her soon-to-be ex-husband Harun G. (40) during their divorce process. Harun G. shot and killed Serpil G. with a gun. The police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of the people in the vicinity.

The police officers who arrived at the scene saw Harun G. waiting with a gun in his hand and called on him through a megaphone to drop his weapon and surrender. After a while, the suspect dropped his weapon and lay down on the ground, and he was taken into custody.
