A passenger plane heading to Miami experienced severe turbulence, leading to moments of terror. The screams of passengers were captured on camera, including instances where some hit the ceiling. The Scandinavian Airlines flight from Stockholm to Miami, which was planned to last over 9 hours, had to change its route due to the incident that occurred on Thursday. The plane, which entered severe turbulence over Greenland, returned to Copenhagen for technical checks. A passenger traveling with their spouse shared footage taken during the turbulence. In the video, a woman sitting next to them can be seen with her feet touching the plane's ceiling. The passenger commented, "I thought we were going to die." According to the airline's statement, there were 254 passengers and one baby on board. Although one passenger indicated that at least one person was injured, the company spokesperson stated that there were no serious injuries. Company officials noted that the plane had to return because there was no equipment available in Miami for the necessary technical checks. Passengers were provided with hotel rooms and were informed that they would be flown to Miami on Friday. Photos shared on social media showed plastic cups, paper bags, and a passenger's backpack being tossed around the cabin during the turbulence. In September, a plane from the same airline had to make an emergency landing due to a rat found in a passenger's meal. The flight from Oslo to Malaga had landed in Copenhagen for safety reasons.
