It has emerged that the YPG, which accepted to retreat to the east of the Euphrates when cornered in Syria, clashed with the Syrian army in Aleppo under the "War" directive from Qandil. Security sources stated, "As a result of the PKK's attitude prioritizing conflict over reconciliation, all losses are the responsibility of Qandil."

The Syrian army launched an operation in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo after the attempts to reach an agreement with the YPG/SDG terrorist organization failed. While clashes continued throughout the night, YPG forces agreed to withdraw to the east of the Euphrates.

"EFFORTS FOR A CONSENSUS IN ALEPPO WERE BLOCKED BY PKK"

Security sources provided a statement regarding the events in Aleppo. It was stated that the YPG continued to engage in conflict under orders from Qandil, while the Syrian army maintained its civilian sensitivity.

The statement included the following expressions: "MIT has made intense efforts to end the conflicts through consensus and dialogue since the very first moment the events began. The consensus that was attempted to be established for civilians to leave the area unharmed has been obstructed by the PKK.

"ALL LOSSES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF QANDIL"

The Syrian army has maintained its civilian sensitivity despite Qandil's order to 'fight.' As a result of the PKK's preference for conflict over consensus, all losses are the responsibility of Qandil.

"QANDIL GAVE THE ORDER TO YPG TO 'STAY AND FIGHT'"

In the initial stages of the operation, the outer neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud were cleared of YPG elements without serious conflict. However, after the Eshrefiye neighborhood was evacuated and the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood was besieged, it was observed that the Qandil administration issued the order to the trapped elements in the region to "stay and fight."

"THE PROCESS OF A TERROR-FREE TURKEY WILL NOT BE HINDERED"

Despite all these events, the process of a Terror-Free Turkey, which began under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, continues, and these events will not hinder the process."

OPERATION AGAINST YPG IN ALEPPO

Since January 6, the YPG/SDG terrorist organization has carried out attacks on many points in Aleppo from the regions it occupies. The Damascus administration had requested the YPG/SDG to comply with the March 10 Agreement and to end the attacks in Aleppo.

In response to the continuation of the YPG/SDG's attacks, the Syrian army launched targeted operations against the positions of the terrorist organization in the Sheikh Maqsoud, Eshrefiye, and Beni Zayd neighborhoods of Aleppo.
