Cansu Bodur, who married an Afghan and settled in Kabul, saw her life turn into a nightmare. The 31-year-old Turkish citizen Cansu Ndori, formerly known as Cansu Badur, made headlines in Turkey with a video she recorded from the home where she was forcibly held and subjected to violence in Afghanistan.
RETURN PROCESS INITIATED
Cansu Bodur, who lives with the Afghan citizen she married in Afghanistan, received a response to her call for help to return to Turkey. With the acceleration of diplomatic efforts, Bodur's return process to her homeland has officially begun.
DIPLOMATIC EFFORTS HAVE COME INTO PLAY
An important step was taken with the involvement of AK Party Deputy Chairman Kürşad Zorlu in the process. Following Zorlu's initiatives, relevant institutions took action, and official correspondence was initiated for Bodur's return to Turkey.
PLANE TICKET OBTAINED
Authorities announced that a plane ticket has also been obtained to facilitate Cansu Bodur's return to Turkey. After the necessary permits are completed, Bodur is planned to be brought to Turkey in a short time.
PROCESS BEING CLOSELY MONITORED
Authorities stated that the process is being carried out in coordination and that efforts are being meticulously continued to avoid any disruptions.
