The Competition Authority decided to initiate an investigation against 26 enterprises operating in the fields of banking/participation banking, insurance, and information technologies, on the suspicion that they were involved in competition violations related to the labor market.

The Competition Authority announced that an investigation has been opened against 26 enterprises suspected of being involved in competition violations related to the labor market.

REASON: COMPETITION VIOLATIONS IN THE LABOR MARKET

In the statement indicating that the preliminary investigation conducted regarding the allegations that enterprises operating in the fields of banking, insurance, and information technologies were involved in employee poaching agreements and/or the exchange of sensitive information related to labor market competition has been concluded by the Board, it was reported that the information and documents obtained during the preliminary investigation process and the examinations conducted raised serious and sufficient doubts about the restriction of competition. The statement expressed that it was decided to open an investigation to determine whether the relevant enterprises violated the Law on the Protection of Competition.
