SHARED A HAIR BRAIDING VIDEO ON SOCIAL MEDIA
In response to the cutting of a woman's hair who is a member of the terrorist organization YPG in Syria, different individuals participated in the hair braiding trend initiated by DEM-affiliated lawmakers. Most recently, a healthcare worker in Kocaeli made headlines by sharing a video of herself braiding her hair on social media.
PROVINCIAL HEALTH DIRECTORATE INITIATED AN INVESTIGATION
The Provincial Health Directorate took action regarding the footage. In a written statement from the Provincial Health Directorate, it was noted that a personnel working under the Ministry of Health was found to have made posts on social media that violate the "Civil Servants Law and the Ethical Principles of Public Servants."
The statement expressed that a judicial and administrative process has been initiated against the relevant personnel due to the aforementioned posts, and that the matter is being closely monitored.
