Iran announced on Tuesday that it has reopened its airspace for international transit flights, while the airspace in the western and central regions of the country has been closed again.
Iran has closed its airspace in the west and central regions of the country again, following the war with Israel, which opened to international transit flights on Tuesday.
IRAN PARTIALLY CLOSED AIRSPACE
According to a statement from the Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the airspace in the central and western parts of the country has been closed to international transit flights after the decision of the Civil Aviation Organization Coordination Committee and current security and safety inspections.
The decision to suspend domestic and international flights in the north, south, and west of the country, including Tehran and Tabriz, has also been extended until Thursday at 14:00.
EASTERN AIRSPACE OPEN
It has been reported that the airspace in the east is open to all flights. Ministry of Roads and Urban Development spokesperson Majid Ihvan announced on Tuesday, July 1, that the central and western parts of the country were open to international transit flights.
