Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan spoke on the phone with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi. Arakchi stated that the missiles directed towards Turkish airspace were not of Iranian origin and that a comprehensive investigation would be conducted regarding the matter.

On March 4, after a missile was shot down in the skies over Hatay, the same incident occurring yesterday in Gaziantep has dominated Turkey's agenda. Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi regarding the matter.

"VIOLATION OF TURKISH AIRSPACE IS UNACCEPTABLE"

According to information obtained from sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Fidan stated that the violation of Turkish airspace is unacceptable and emphasized that Turkey will continue to take all necessary measures against this.

Minister Fidan stressed that all parties should refrain from actions that could undermine regional security and pose risks to civilians.
