US President Donald Trump responded with 'I am not satisfied' to the 'final negotiation' draft presented by Iran through Pakistan. Following Trump's statement 'I would prefer not to destroy them,' Iran's religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei, issuing a message on the occasion of May 1, declared that after military successes, they would now defeat their enemies in the economic and cultural arenas.

Iran's religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a message on the occasion of May 1, Labor and Workers' Day.

"IRAN MUST ALSO DEFEAT ITS ENEMIES IN THE ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL STRUGGLE STAGE"

In his message, Khamenei stated that working life covers a wide area across the country, drawing attention to the role of workers in the economic field. Expressing that the field of work extends from homes to workplaces, from fields to factories, and to the service sector, Khamenei said, "To the extent that this vast area is nourished by diligence and commitment, each being fundamental elements of any great success, the country's progress will be ensured more strongly and firmly."

Also touching on Iran's achievements in the military field, Khamenei stated, "Iran has proven to the world some of its remarkable capabilities in the military field against those who oppose its progress and rise after over 47 years of struggle. Iran must also disappoint and defeat its enemies in the economic and cultural struggle stage."

IRAN DELIVERED THE TEXT OF THE FINAL NEGOTIATION DRAFT TO THE US

Meanwhile, Iran delivered its final offer for an agreement that could end the war to the US side through Pakistani mediators. In a report by Iran's official news agency IRNA, it was stated: "Iran delivered the text of the final negotiation draft to Pakistan, which is the mediator in negotiations with the US, on the evening of Thursday, April 30." Details regarding the content of the offer were not shared.

TRUMP: I'M NOT SURE WE CAN REACH AN AGREEMENT

However, US President Donald Trump said Tehran's offer did not satisfy him. In his first statement regarding the offer, Trump said, "They want to make a deal, but I was not satisfied with the latest proposal. I'm not sure we can reach an agreement." Stating, "The Iranians don't know who their leader is," Trump added, "In Tehran, everyone has a different opinion." Also saying he would not disclose to the press whether he would attack Iran, the US President said, "Will we finish them off forever or will we make a deal? I would prefer not to destroy them."

FROM THE WHITE HOUSE TO THE US CONGRESS: HOSTILITIES THAT BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 28 HAVE ENDED

While political and military tensions between the US and Iran continue, the White House sent a letter to the US Congress stating that conflicts with Iran have ended. In the letter sent to US House Speaker Mike Johnson and bearing the signature of US President Donald Trump, it stated, "The hostilities that began on February 28, 2026, have ended," but it was also clearly noted that the war might be far from over. The letter stated, "Despite the success of US operations against the Iranian regime and ongoing efforts to achieve lasting peace, the threat posed by Iran to the US and our armed forces continues significantly."

CLEAR MESSAGE TO GULF COUNTRIES: US TOKEN BASES CANNOT PROTECT YOU

While the content of the offer and the official response from the US are eagerly awaited, Iran's religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei implicitly targeted Gulf countries. Khamenei stated, "US token bases cannot even ensure their own security and are far from protecting American puppets in the region."

ARAKCHI MET WITH FOREIGN MINISTERS OF REGIONAL COUNTRIES

Amid the negotiation uncertainty, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi exchanged views on ending the war with his counterparts from Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Azerbaijan, as well as Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. In the meetings, Araghchi conveyed his country's stance on ending the war to his counterparts and provided information regarding the aggression of the US and Israel.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also held a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The latest situation in the negotiation process between Iran and the US was discussed during the call.

US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN

Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28, while negotiations were ongoing between the administrations in Tehran and Washington. Iran responded with attacks on selected targets in some regional countries, primarily Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where US bases are located, as well as Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, Iran's leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as many senior officials, were killed.
