Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Bakayi stated that the deployment of warships by the United States to the region is a "show of force" and that Iran will respond firmly to any attacks against it, saying, "The arrival of one or several warships does not affect Iran's defense determination. Our armed forces are monitoring every development moment by moment and are not wasting a single second to enhance their capabilities."

The spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bekayi, made evaluations regarding current issues at his weekly press conference.

Referring to the United States sending the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier to the Middle East and starting joint military exercises with Gulf countries, Bekayi stated that Iran would respond to any kind of attack against it, saying, "We have been facing a hybrid war for a long time. After 12 days of war, we encounter new claims and threats every day. The countries in the region are well aware that all kinds of instability are contagious and have specific targets. Every country that believes in international law must take a clear stance against the distortions of the United States. Iran trusts its own capabilities and carries the experience of what happened in June in its memory. Iran is stronger than ever and will respond to any kind of attack," he said.

"OUR ARMED FORCES DO NOT WASTE A SINGLE SECOND"

Describing the sending of warships to the region by the United States as a "display of power," Bekayi stated, "The arrival of one or several warships does not affect Iran's defense determination. Our armed forces are monitoring every development moment by moment and are not wasting a single second to enhance their capabilities. While displays of power and threats are contrary to international law, the violation of these principles affects everyone. Therefore, the countries in the region are trying to prevent miscalculations," he said.

"WE HAVE DEFENSE AGREEMENTS WITH BOTH CHINA AND RUSSIA"

Responding to claims that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian sent a message to postpone an attack on the United States, Bekayi said, "While the United States itself acknowledges that information from Israeli sources should be evaluated with skepticism, why is our media spreading these claims? There is no truth to these claims. This is a continuation of the chain of lies from the Israeli regime. This regime is an enemy of all forms of diplomacy and is the main producer of false information," he stated.

Stating that cooperation in the defense field with China and Russia continues, Bekayi emphasized that contacts with both countries are ongoing strongly, saying, "We have defense agreements with both China and Russia. These collaborations and contacts will continue robustly. Russia and China are two important members of the United Nations and are aware of their responsibilities. We are also in contact with both countries regarding the latest developments," he said.

ISRAEL HAS STARTED PREPARATIONS

On the other hand, Major General Rafi Milo, the commander of the Northern Front of the Israeli army, stated that the Israeli army is prepared on all fronts against the possibility that a potential attack by the United States on Iran could lead to retaliation from the Tehran administration.

THE U.S. IS BUILDING UP IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Following the recent escalation of rhetoric between Washington and Tehran, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. Navy has sent a "large armada" to the Middle East. According to Stars and Stripes, the Abraham Lincoln Strike Group, consisting of three destroyers, is moving from the Indian Ocean towards the Gulf region neighboring Iran.

The U.S. Central Command announced that F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets belonging to the Air Force have also been deployed in the Middle East. CENTCOM stated that this step aims to "increase combat readiness and contribute to regional security and stability." The UK Ministry of Defense also announced that Typhoon fighter jets have been sent to Qatar for defense purposes.

On the other hand, analysts examining flight tracking data have noted that a significant number of U.S. military cargo planes have also been moving towards the region recently. This activity recalls the process last year when Patriot air defense systems were deployed in the region in response to the possibility of Iranian retaliation against U.S. attacks. At that time, Iran had carried out missile attacks targeting Al-Udeid Air Base.
