In a survey conducted with 2,000 people in 26 provinces, the proportion of those who want Turkey to take on a mediating role in the Israel-Iran crisis was measured at 69.2%.
According to the ASAL Research survey conducted in March 2026, striking results emerged regarding what kind of policy Turkey should adopt in the Israel-Iran issue.
69% AGREE ON THE SAME VIEW
The vast majority of participants believe that Turkey should adopt a balanced policy and act as a mediator. The proportion of those supporting this view was measured at 69.2%.
THOSE SUPPORTING IRAN IN SECOND PLACE
The proportion of those saying "Turkey should support Iran" in the survey was 23.0%, while the proportion of those advocating the view "Turkey should support Israel" remained at 3.6%. 4.2% of participants marked the option "I have no opinion/no answer."
