Ali Babacan left the door open for his candidacy, which came to the forefront as the name pointed out by Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan as a presidential candidate that would make people say 'What a relief.' Babacan said, 'Party leaders are already natural presidential candidates. I have been saying this for years.'
Felicity Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan and DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan answered reporters' questions at the exit of the Yeniden Yol Party's Parliamentary Group Meeting.

Regarding the presidential candidate, Arıkan, asked who the candidate would be after an alleged statement about "We have a candidate that 86 million people would sigh with relief for," which reportedly referred to former President Abdullah Gül and DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan, said, "Let AK Party announce an early election, set the date, and we will declare our candidate together tomorrow."
