It was stated that there is no current price regulation work planned by authorized institutions, and citizens were called upon not to trust speculative news.
The Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) under the Presidency's Directorate of Communications has announced that claims about a high-rate increase in electricity consumption fees do not reflect the truth.
In a statement made through DMM's official channels, it was stated that there is no current study regarding price regulation and the public was asked to be cautious against manipulative news.
"THERE IS NO CURRENT PRICE REGULATION STUDY PLANNED"
The statement included the following expressions: "The claims circulated in some press outlets and social media platforms that 'electricity consumption fees will be increased at very high rates soon' are false. There is no current price regulation study planned by the authorized institutions. It is kindly requested that such speculative and provocative claims, put forward to negatively affect economic expectations and manipulate public perception, should not be trusted."
