Financial analyst İslam Memiş and AK Party member Şamil Tayyar clashed live on air. The tension, which started after Şamil Tayyar accused İslam Memiş of "ruining small investors" following the drop in gold prices, turned into an argument where insults like "immature kids," "don't be rude," and "showman" were thrown around.

A heated argument took place on the Media Critique program broadcast on TGRT News between financial analyst Islam Memis and former AK Party MP Şamil Tayyar. The tension between the two began with Tayyar's criticisms that Memis's predictions regarding gold prices were inconsistent. While Şamil Tayyar argued that Memis caused losses for investors due to the decline in gold prices, Islam Memis reacted to the criticisms directed at him.

"TWO LOSERS OF THE DAY" POST

The spark that ignited the argument was a post made by Şamil Tayyar on his social media account. Tayyar shared a photo of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Islam Memis, using the words: "Two losers of the day. One wrecked his comrades in CHP, the other wrecked gold investors."

MUTUAL HARSH WORDS

Following this post, the tension escalated when the two faced each other on the live broadcast. Islam Memis reacted with the words: "Am I going to hold you accountable like a teenage kid just because you put someone's photo on Twitter?" In response to these statements, Şamil Tayyar said: "Don't be rude. Don't deceive this nation. You say 8,000 TL, it becomes 6,000 TL; aren't you ashamed of that?"

"SHAMELESS MAN"

To Memis's words, "Wow, Şamil Tayyar talks about shame and decency," Tayyar replied: "Don't be rude, shameless man. You still persist in immorality. Why do you allow this man to speak?" Continuing the argument, Islam Memis also responded to Tayyar by saying: "You're a showman, a showman."

"HIS TRANSACTIONS MUST BE INVESTIGATED" CALL

After the program, Şamil Tayyar made a new post on his social media account, arguing that Islam Memis's statements and transactions regarding the gold market should be investigated. In his statement, Tayyar noted that the predictions about gold prices had disappointed thousands of small investors, using the words: "I think his transactions must be investigated. Let's see what comes out of the gold?"
