Persepolis head coach İsmail Kartal evaluated the incident that occurred between Jose Mourinho and Okan Buruk after the Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derby in the Ziraat Turkey Cup. Evaluating Jose Mourinho's physical intervention on Okan Buruk, İsmail Kartal stated, "I watched, I saw. Mourinho is a world-class coach, a coach who has established himself. As far as I can see, there seems to be some provocation there. Otherwise, why would Mourinho squeeze the nose of the opposing coach out of the blue?"
